Program Opportunities to meet your needs!

Kid City’s unique venue offers a wide variety of activities for the Home School family! We offer two interactive programs specially designed for Home School children in grade levels pre-K, K, 1, 2 and 3:

Kid Cityscape: Through the exploration of architecture, children will be given the opportunity to see the combination of shapes in their everyday surroundings and will create their own “Cityscape”.

A Very Busy City: Children will be given the opportunity to explore a career and learn the importance of every person’s role as a community helper.

While one group of similar grade level children are participating in one of our Interactive Programs, our safe, gated “city” allows the other children to play and learn!

Kid City, The Children's Museum of Tampa is supported by earned income and is sponsored in part by the City of Tampa, the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department, the Arts Council of Hillsborough County, the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, the Children's Board of Hillsborough County, the State of Florida, Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, and The Florida Arts Council. The museum also receives donations from individuals, corporations and foundations.
